We work with non-profit organizations committed to building facilities to benefit entire communities. These organizations aim to create life-changing programs. They recognize that good design and lasting construction are critical to fulfilling their long-term visions. We help implement and manage projects in partnership with local businesses, resources and people.

Our work ranges from schools to health facilities to housing to water treatment plants. We implement best practices in construction while respecting the organization’s working budget. Transparency is a guiding principle in all aspects of our work.

We will:

  • Open our network of people on both sides of the Atlantic to anyone who wants to see a project happen and can ensure its success.

  • Evaluate and recommend design and construction professionals in the US and in Africa.

  • Prepare and review drawings, as well as propose schematic alternatives.

  • Act as the 'owner’s representative'. Advocate, propose and track progress against goals and objectives.

  • Oversee the budget. Analyze and evaluate it. Recommend value engineering alternatives. Produce cash flow reports. Track the expenses and manage the construction-change process. Allocate the available funds.

  • Manage the process. Recommend phasing, and control the scope of work. Develop and track the schedule. Assure that quality is maintained. Meet face to face as needed. Travel whenever needed, whether in the US or in Africa. Keep the project moving and bring the building to completion.

Pannotia’s mission is to bring professional services to vital humanitarian projects. Our compensation, which is well below prevailing commercial rates, is designed to be consistent with non-profit organizations’ needs. We want to see every project succeed.
